Hello, all! We here at Star City Recycling are once again excited to announce another run of our annual fundraiser: Hearts for Uganda! For the 5th year in a row, we will be partnering with the non-profit organization CCF Uganda to raise money and provide greater access to food, shelter, and schooling for at-risk youth throughout Uganda.

This year's fundraiser will run through the end of March, concluding end-of-day on Tuesday, March 31st. The following day, 3 winners will be drawn at random: 1st Place receiving 6 months of free recycling ($150.00 value), 2nd Place receiving 3 months of free recycling ($75.00 value), and 3rd Place receiving 1 month of free recycling ($25.00 value). Each donation of $10.00 or more will enter your name into the drawing; multiple entries are allowed for increased odds ($20.00 for 2 entries, $30.00 for 3, etc.).

Donations for this fundraiser can be sent in two ways:

Option 1: Electronic Donation

Electronic donations can be sent via the DONATE button located above. For the sake and sanity of our office staff, we ask that you try to keep any donations separate from regular payments for curbside recycling services; it’ll save us lots of time, and help prevent any unnecessary confusion!

Option 2: Physical Donations

If you wish to send a donation through the mail, all envelopes can be made out to the mailing address found below. Please remember to include "Hearts For Uganda" or "Donation" in the memo line to ensure that your contribution and entries are applied correctly.​​
